Embrace Finance x Civic Power Fund

Autumn 2026

These sessions have been designed to support leaders of micro and small social purpose organisations build lasting financial resilience in as simple a way as possible.

It is our experience that it is financial confidence which unlocks longer term financial resilience. And it is financial resilience which unlocks long term social change.

Yet many folks tell us that they find finance boring, baffling and anxiety provoking. We get it. It can be all of these things. Especially when the numbers don't go quite the right way.

Therefore, our sessions are delivered in plain English with all jargon explained, go back to first principles and aim to support folks to get on top of and stay on top of the numbers even when finance is not their first love.

We hope you find them helpful and we look forward to working with you.

Financial resilience for small charities, social enterprises and community groups

20 Nov 2026, 10am-1pm

How can small charities, social enterprises and community groups evolve and endure in order to continue making people’s lives better and communities stronger in a world that is ever-changing and increasingly uncertain?

This 3-hour interactive workshop is designed to equip leaders with the systems and strategies needed to anticipate their possible financial futures, prepare for financial uncertainties and adapt and respond to change.

Drawing on tried and tested approaches, we will explore a financial resilience-building framework that can put all of this into simple practical actions that can be used straight away.

Come with your resilience-building questions, leave with a framework, a clear action plan and new finance friends.
