Small Charity Finance Foundations Programme
We know that finance can be tricky. It is highly regulated and there is a lot to think about. We know that building longer term financial resilience can also be tricky. Funding and commissiong practices often make it difficult to build reserves, for example. We are often told that finance can be boring or, worse, anxiety provoking Especially when the numbers don't go the right way.
However, we also know that getting on top of and staying on top of the numbers is essential if we want to run a resilient organisation and if we want to stay around for as long as we are needed. And, we also know that leaders of small charities just need the simplest way through it all. In our experience, financially resilient charities are led by financially confident people. And that doesn't mean that we are all chartered accountants. It just means we know what the numbers are, what they mean and what we need to do.
This programme has been designed for, and refined with, small charities. Over a series of short, succinct, bitesize sessions, delivered in a mix of online and pre-recorded sessions, we guide you through the key financial practices that will help you manage your charity's finances with greater confidence.
Whether you're new to financial management or looking to strengthen your skills, these plain English, back to first principles sessions will provide you with the knowledge to build longer term financial resilience.
Never let one spreadsheet stop you from changing the world. Join us to explore the wonderful world of charity finance together.
